Hey everybody. I'm a hearing beginning ASL student. I'm finishing up my first class this week and want to learn ASL. At first I wanted to do the 4 year interpreter program but since the economy sucks right now I have to put further ASL classes aside for a little while to focus an online education so I can find a decent job in the short term. However I STILL want to learn/practice/sharpen my signing outside the classroom. I've been to a silent dinner and auction and have met some really cool people. So I'm looking to meet more people deaf and hearing and continue developing my skills.
