The Third parties -  we Deafhood people -  were/are still dealing with those conflicting issues between the equal access and  the companies (natural communication, any credit cards, medicals, pagers, interpreters, schools etc..).  As far as we know they are trying to rip us all off for their own purpose to make money for the business. There are many technologies that are from their flawed ideas. They try  to make it look positive for people who depend on that materialism before relying on humanity itself.  People are not thinking twice as far as it went out of control with the technologies. Also, it prevented us to have the communication between them and us as they refused because of security reasons. What about us, Deafhood people s right to be served by calls?  It’s not a real natural life to live in Mother Nature's world when living like this!

They forget themselves and others and drive individuals apart with their technologies. Lately, I’m seeing that there are no human contacts between them. However, it's not the true feelings that included body language movement or facial expression to seek the truth as the whole of human beings.  Another things is that it's very difficult for me to be on the video alone because it is 'still' an isolation in me that I dislike very much. I feel that it's not the whole of me to talk when there are walls like that. As of understanding my views that I feel there is a part of our lifestyles that is like a robot. That is very offensive to me as a real Deaf human being. I'll just do the best that I can. However I am not crazy about it.  So it takes me a while to feel up to it. That ‘s all I can say.

Communication is the most important thing in our lives and we all know this very much so.  The conflicting issue is the barrier of communication between  human beings and in Deaf beings that do not have any equal access. This still exists everywhere, no matter what you are telling me. So therefore, thee is not a real diversity yet.

In Deaf or Deaf Mainstream schools -  As far as we Deafhood people are trying very hard to reinforce for our Deaf children to have American Sign Language in their lives I think it's a wonderful opportunity! Why? This is because using our ASL can have the Deaf standard to be equal as for one WHOLE Deafhood people. So  therefore, it's appropriate for us to have American Sign Language and written English as part of our ASL education. This is a very important goals for all of our Deaf and Hearing children together.  The reason is Hearing people do  have their written English as their own standards to be equal as one whole  Hearing people. So I don’t see there should be disagreement on both sides because it s combination of BI BI languages. So that is very, very reasonable for  us all to understand both ways. This should have come first before Hear or  Speak.  Whoever have their secondary languages, thanks!

Know what? I don't feel there is a right to have the interpreters for our Deafhood children in our Deaf schools or Deaf Main schools. Why? This is because it's the third  parties that can lead to misunderstanding or missing out in some ways of understanding the concept of meanings of what it has to be saying without ASL.  Many interpreters are not skilled signers or fail to understand the terminologies. As from the "direct to direct", I prefer Deaf or CODA teachers in our ASL education that helps us to understand more intellectual skills to  be gained more than ever.  We do not need things like their translation like foreign  people who have their interpreters in our classrooms do. That is not a real life. That is what we are dealing with every day of our lives. That's the whole point  here.

Where are our natural language to communicate with others by Deafhood children or adults in this real world?  That is most difficult for me to deal with. The end result is isolation between any two communities of diverse people. It's a huge and severe problem with the barrier of communication as the usual end result.

There is a "natural language" for all of us because it s who we are, and being deaf in our  true soul is something that cannot be taken away. It's very difficult for  many of us deal with for so many years. This is something  that is not what we should deal with the kind of Mental Health that comes from and is by people with Medical / Hearing Supremacy attitudes in this society.

The reason I'm writing this is so that it helps you to think more whenever you decide in your true soul. If you want you can decide to be open to find the key for having  to being free with our communication rights anytime. This is our basic needs and our basic rights. It will give you  more opportunity to have the equal access for all of us without having those hatred crimes.

Thank you for your time to read this and give yourself a chance to think it over.

Those conflicting issues are the result of misperceptions based on stereotypes. These have been handed down from generation to generation without question. Those who actually do question them are often labled by some - but not all - in a derogatory manner that is more opinion than fact. Neither the opinion nor the result are objective; neither can be proven.

Technologies have their purpose and place. When the technology is abused and misused as a result of a flawed and/or derogatory opinion then it is invalid. Thus, technology is not to be taken carte blanche'. It needs to be "interpreted" before it is used. If the interpretation shows a flawed basis and flawed results then the use of the technology is invalid. The technology itself is not necessarily invalid; it's the use of that technology that is flawed. For example, when a technology is used in a manner that has any group seen as inadequate without that technology then the use of that technology is flawed. Technology serves us; we are not to serve technology. The idea of a person thinking about the use of the technology shows the proper sequence of thought preceding action.

Correct, technologies can and are used to separate people. When we use the technology as a threshold to determine the acceptability of individuals then we are placing use of that technology in the place of a determining factor. The acceptability of the individual as a human being should not be dependent upon use of technology.

Body language and/or other types of communication are vastly more correct than the use of many technologies. Technologies may do only that which they are designed to do. Technologies may help creativity yet technology is *not* creativity in and of itself.

True feelings can only be communicated with representations such as words and/or actions. True feelings cannot be communicated through the use of technology unless there is agreement as to *what* is meant and *how* this is communicated. In other words, there needs to be agreement through the use of emotion and thought processes. Different words/phrases/actions may have different meanings depending on the cultural and/or sub-cultural group one identifies with. These meanings may also vary based on time and/or experience

True, communication *IS* the most important thing in our life. This is why there needs to be mutual agreement about the meanings - both surface level and underlying - of communications. This meaning of the communication is not technology-dependent as much as it is thought-dependent. Therefore, the idea that technologies are required in order to communicate is null and void.

It is critical that all deaf individuals - especially children - realize that it is healthy to be who and what they are. The *opinion* that such a person is *not* healthy as they are is only opinion. Thus, it cannot be validated that such a person is unacceptable as they are. Correct, having both ASL as well as written English is appropriate. D/deaf use of English is appropriate in terms of sites such as this.

Bi-Bi brings to mind that the whole is different from the sum of the parts.

Interpreters in schools is like other communities in that there are interpreters for different languages in different schools. Just by having this available implies that ASL is valid and appropriate. However, I *can* see the need and usefulness of teachers/administrators signing as well. A "Human Services" employee is far better off being able to *directly* communicate WITH a student.

Because the communication exists beyond the classroom and/or school there needs to be communication directly.

Mental Health needs to have someone be able to communicate in their natural language form. This helps in the understanding of one another. Further, it is a definite asset should mental health professionals and/or administrators be able to communicate with those who may come to see them. With "communication" being vital in any human services field a person who is D/deaf will obviously share more personal things with a signing professional than one who does not.

Our basic needs involve our basic rights. We have both a *need* to communicate as we are AND a right to communicate as we are.

Nice topic! *Smile*
